Vicksburg sits on the Mississippi and was a key battleground for the Civil War. We stayed across the road from the river in an RV campground run by one of the casinos. The downtown area is quaint with a lot of possibilities if only the city & casinos would put money into the area. This area is full of history. We visited the Civil park, the USS Cairo as well as the Coca-Cola museum. Met a lovely couple visiting from The Netherlands and exchanged information.  Beau & Bailey became BARK rangers so you better watch out!
