To bring you up to date since the last blog. We left Sidney NE on a cold but clear day June, 13, 2019. We stopped at this great rest area and archeology site just east of Cheyenne. We thought we smelled something hot but thought it was all the trucks parked around us. Wrong! Maybe a mile from an exit to Cheyenne we first lost our power steering then all the gages went wild and lost all electronics. Dave was able to muscle the RV off 80 and into a Walmart parking lot where we discovered a shredded serpentine belt (what do you expect it was made in Thailand ) We called roadside service and they were able to place a new belt and get us on our way albeit 3 1/2 hours later, but all in all could have been much worst. Dave wanted to make it to Rawlins Wy (we are on a schedule) and we did, but not before we encountered fierce weather the worst winds so far and rain and lots and lots of road construction. Two lane road for miles in blowing wind and rain…loads of fun. The dogs however did surprisingly well as they slept through most of it!
A little about Boulder WY: It has a population of 170 it is at 7016 Elevation and about 90 miles south on state route 191 of Jackson Hole WY just in case you want to look us up on the map. The weather is much warmer here than in Rawlins…Yeah!
We have come 2618.6 miles from home. Tomorrow we move on to Moran WY and then to West Yellowstone MT. I probably won’t blog again until Yellowstone unless something really exciting happens.

Loving your travel blog. Glad all is well.

Enjoying you blog! I feel like I’m in the back seat with ya! So nice you got to go shopping for ”treats” while they fixed the RV.
